Wadebridge stand nearing completion

The brand new grandstand at Bodieve Park, home of Wadebridge Town Football Club is nearing completion.
Work has progressed remarkably well through Christmas and the New Year on the new grandstand.
Due to many match postponements, lack of fixtures and away matches many of you will be surprised and hopefully impressed by the new look grandstand. The new grandstand boasts around 130 seats giving an amazing vantage point to view the matches. The interior is also near completion and the club hopes to have the official opening in the extreme near future. As well as seating for spectators there are also seats at ground level at the front of the stand for both home and away team officials and substitutes. Please feel free to watch the matches from the new stand.

"I would like to start by wishing you all a very happy and prosperous New Year and lets all hope on and off the field an extremely successful one. The club has many events lined up for the new year. Without a doubt the most important event will be the official opening of the clubs new grandstand. Years and years of hard work by many people have gone into what you see today. Once completed Wadebridge Town will boast some of the best facilities in Cornwall and the South West. This is expected in the extreme near future. Seats are still available for sponsorship if you wish your name to go down in history. As well as the opening of the new stand we are once again hoping to provide another open air concert, hopefully during the summer months, which we hope to be even more successful than last years.
We will also be having the regular Carboots, Donkey Derbys, End of season Dinner & Dance and hopefully many more golf tournaments.
The club, at the moment, has new 2004 calendars available. You can choose between 'Wadebridge Town FC - Over a century of football' featuring Wadebridge Town teams and squads throughout its history and 'In and around Wadebridge' featuring photographs from various landmarks throughout the town. Please see me or any committee member for details and to order your copy now.
The club will also have this seasons squad photographs available. Samples can be seen in the clubhouse but we are hoping to complete both squads photographs infront of the new stand, again see me for details or to order your copy.
On the pitch both senior sides are in very respectable positions and despite their high positions all mangers concerned consider their side can improve which is extremely promising. The ladies and veterans continue to impress as does all the hard work and effort that goes into running the many Youth sides here at the club.
Many thanks as well go to everyone who contributed to the Christmas draw. A full list of all the winners can be seen overleaf.
Club polo shirts are also available so all in all good things are happening here at Wadebridge Town Football Club.
Lets all hope we can continue in the same direction for the good of the club, town and community."
